Current personality tests are not useful. It doesn’t tease out the real differences between people. The questions are more “what do you identify with”, and leads to much mood-affiliation. It leads to everyone saying they are both extroverts and introverts. It applies stereotypes to someone who is “low on conscientiousness”, where they probably did not need a series of questions to find out. It does not help in matching people together, so see if they have similar worldviews.
I attempt to compile a list of extremely detailed questions and answers that truly tease out different worldviews. And its purpose is indeed to see if people will like each other.
